Greek Obs2OGS project

We are pleased to announce Cailabs’ participation in the Obs2OGS project, in a consortium led by Raymetrics and implemented by the European Space Agency – ESA.

The project’s objective is to upgrade the three Greek observatories of Chelmos (National Observatory of Athens), Skinakas (Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH) and Cholomondas (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) into three Optical Ground Stations, enhancing optical communication capabilities.

Cailabs, as a subcontractor in this initiative, plays a pivotal role in these upgrades thanks to our extensive experience in optical ground station design, manufacturing and integration. Our involvement underscores our commitment to advancing laser communication technologies.

This collaboration represents an important step forward in our field, and we are proud to be part of it!
