CANUNDA in the press: “Beam shaping to scale up micro-processing”
Nice article in the latest issue of PhotonicsViews highlighting Cailabs’ technology allowing the improvement of microprocessing: Beam shaping to scale up microprocessing – combining multiplane light conversion with an industrial femtosecond laser, by Gwenn Pallier (Cailabs) & Jean-François Poisson (Light Conversion).
Authors:
Gwenn Pallier holds a master’s degree in optical engineering from the Institute of Optics in Paris, as well as in fusion science from the École Polytechnique in Paris. Passionate for optics, she has previously worked in the space and defense industry. She is now product line manager at Cailabs in charge of the development of the industrial applications of the MPLC-based beam shaping systems.
Jean-François Poisson started his career in the laser world in 2001 with a market leading company as project manager for standard and customized micromachining turn-key solutions. He then moved to a sales engineer position for the same product range in the same company, and later with a beam analysis solutions manufacturer. Jean-François has now been in charge of sales of light conversion products for the French speaking territories in Europe for two years.
